Japan was the only association from Japan that had teams playing during Goalball Lady Intercup 2023. They participated with one team in Malmö Lady Intercup.
In addition to JAPAN, 9 other teams from 9 different countries played in Malmö Lady Intercup. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof JAPAN INTERCUP could be found in POOL A together with Great Britain, France Women's National Goalball Team, USA and Turkish Blind Sports Federation GOALBALL WOMEN NATIONAL TEAM. JAPAN also participated in Lady Intercup during Goalball Lady Intercup 2022. They won Play Off Medals, after beating Israel Paralympic Committee in the final with 6-3.
